Rainbows and random pics

These pics are a bit random, but pretty good ones! They are all from the last month or so.
This is Ben's Booster team here in Texas. They are all incredible and such blessings to us (so are the wives of the married guys). Spectacular! And pretty fun, if you can't tell!
Liza Jane with her buddy Madison. They have tons of fun together!
These ladies and gents are all part of our Booster family. We love them dearly. From L to R: Matthew and Erin Haneline-he's the area leader for Charlotte, NC. They are expecting their first baby in March! WooHoo!
Chris and Lyndie Carneal-they are our fearless leaders! Chris is the Founder and President of Booster
Billy Boughey and Jenn Cannon-Billy is an area leader in Atlanta. He actually was the guy who recruited Ben to Booster. He and Jenn are getting married on Nov. 14th! Another Woo Hoo!
Chaz is a "think outside the box" eater. This is usually pretty messy. For example, trying to eat 6 crackers at one time. Crumby!
Here we are at dinner at Park Tavern in Atlanta for a fun Booster event. Fancy Shmancy! Nice to get out of mommy garb every once in a while! I do have to give my sis the credit for this dress. She wore it to our cousin's wedding reception in July and I liked it so much that I picked one up for myself on my way to the airport. I even wore the same necklace (she'd actually bought it for me for my bday a couple years ago, then borrowed it for the reception, so I had it in my lovely ziploc baggy of jewelry). That's right. All my jewelry accept my wedding ring is clumped together in a small ziploc and I love it!

On to more important things:

We try every night to read the Bible with the kids. Every night I'm pretty sure God uses it to minister to me more than them. The same old stories I've read over and over are breathed new life thru "The Jesus Storybook Bible". We've read thru it twice, so lately I've just been asking Liza Jane what she wants to read. Tonight was Noah. I'll pick up at the rainbow.

"...the first thing God did was make a promise. 'I won't ever destroy the whole world again.' And like a warrior who puts away his bow and arrow at the end of a great battle, God said, 'See, I have hung up my bow in the clouds.'

And there, in the clouds--just where the storm meets the sun--was a beautiful bow made of light.

It was a new beginning in God's world.

It wasn't long before everything went wrong again but God wasn't surprised, he knew this would happen. That's why, before the beginning of time, he had another plan--a better plan. A plan not to destroy the world, but to rescue it--a plan to one day send his own Son, the Rescuer.

God's strong anger against hate and sadness and death would come down once more--but not on his people, or his world. No, God's war bow was not pointing down at his people.

It was pointing up, into the heart of Heaven."

Oh, He's goodness is unfathomable.

So I was looking at this post going, did "I lone her that dress?"...and just didn't remember? Funny. Looks good.
Oh, and that part always makes me cry like a baby. Love it.

Yes! I love this Bible...it's our nightly ritual as well. The story of Noah is Cord's favorite and he loves it so much that last Sunday he read the part you posted to our adult sunday school class. I love seeing God woven through His Word from begining to end. Thanks for sharing! Love the pics! Your children are beautiful :)
